Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 Box of Chocolate Cake Mix (made as directions indicate)
  • 1 Teaspoon All-Purpose Flour (to allow cake to rise more)

Equipment:

  • Measuring Cups
  • Long Handle Wooden Spoon
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Oven
  • Stand or Hand Mixer
  • Large Mixing Bowl
  • Stove
  • Batter Spatula
  • Baker's Joy Baking Spray
  • 13 x 9 Oblong Cake Pan
  • 13 x 9 Cake Taker

Pre-Preparation:

  1. Lay out all ingredients/equipment 15 minutes prior to cooking/baking

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to the temperature indicated on your box of cake mix.
  2. Mix together all ingredients as required by your box of cake mix, plus the small amount flour.
  3. Spray pan with Baker's Joy Baking Spray.
  4. Pour mixture into your 13 x 9 oblong cake pan.
  5. Bake for time indicated for a 13 x 9 cake on your box of cake mix.
  6. After baking let cake stand on oven for 15 minutes.
  7. After cooling for 15 minutes, gently invert cake out onto a 13 x 9 cake taker and apply Peanut Butter Chocolate Frosting while cake is still hot.
  8. Store in a 13 x 9 Cake Taker.
