Potato Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Onions
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1, 8 Ounce Bag Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Bag Hash Browns
  • 1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 Stick Margarine (1/2 Cup Butter)
  • 2 Cups Crushed Cheese Crackers
  • 4 Ounce Carton of Sour Cream

Equipment:

  • Measuring Cups
  • Long Handle Wooden Spoon
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Oven
  • Stand or Hand Mixer
  • Large Mixing Bowl
  • PAM Non-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 13 x 9 Casserole Dish

Pre-Preparation:

  1. Lay out all ingredients/equipment 15 minutes prior to cooking/baking.

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350oF
  2. In your mixing bowl mix potatoes, cream of chicken soup, cheddar cheese, salt, pepper, onions, and sour cream.
  3. Melt Margarine
  4. Add cheese crackers to melted margarine.
  5. Add mixing bowl mixture to casserole dish and top with crackers/margarine mixture.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes.
