Dedication

  As I have stated on the Home Page the purpose of this site/book is to provide you with all those beloved recipes of our grandmother, mother & wife Shirley Davis. We all know that she at some point has cooked something we truly would love to have had that recipe for so we can take our chances at cooking it, just to find out we still didn't get it right after the third time!
  But, the real purpose of this book/site is that we all know that at some point the loving, caring, & compassionate grandmother, mother, & wife that we have all grown to love will one day be called by our Lord to come home. So even though she will one day be gone in physical form; she will live on in spirit and her hobby that she enjoys the most which is cooking & baking.
  As long as this recipe book/site remains, Shirley Davis will never truly have left us. It hit me one day, what better way to immortalize her spirit than to preserve her life's hobby and passion than putting all her treasured recipes on paper? So, I have compiled all of her most commonly tried and true recipes and posted them on their respective pages of this recipe book/site. Which you can access to the left of this page.
