
Rum Glaze

Ingredients:
- 1 Stick Butter ( Cups)
- 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 1 1/2 Teaspoon Rum Flavoring or Rum Substitute
Equipment:
- 2 Quart Saucepan
- Stove
- Long Handle Wooden Spoon
Pre-Preparation:
- Lay out all ingredients/equipment 15 minutes prior to cooking/baking.
Directions:
- In your saucepan, add in butter, sugar, water and rum flavoring.
- Using a wooden spoon, stir mixture over medium heat and bring to a boil.
- Allow mixture to boil for 3 Minutes.
- After 3 Minutes remove mixture from heat and pour over hot Rum Cake still in baking pan.
